I immediately opened a new Word document and wrote "Turd," "Tird" and "Terd." Word refused to recognize any of these spellings. In an act of desperation, I Googled the word "turd" and discovered two things: 1. My suspicion was correct: "tird" is indeed misspelled; 2.
